Local manufacturer Tria Technologies sponsors Stutensee festival anniversary celebrations

With its global presence based in Stutensee, Tria highlights its history and commitment to the local community

Stutensee, Germany – June 30, 2025 – Tria Technologies, an Avnet company specializing in the manufacturing of embedded compute boards, is proudly sponsoring the 50-year celebrations of History and Culture in Stutensee.

Stutensee celebrated the anniversary of the union of independent German communities: Blankenloch, Büchig, Friedrichstal, Spöck, and Staffort. The town is important to Tria, as it is home to the company’s headquarters and currently employs around 450+ people at its Stutensee location.

As a company rooted in Stutensee since its founding, Tria wanted to actively support the local community by sponsoring the festivities which saw weekend-long celebrations showcasing the best of Stutensee’s culture and heritage through live music, food, arts and crafts.

Silvano Geissler, Vice President Technologies and Development, Tria Technologies, said, “We are proud to be able to support our local community by contributing funding to this spectacular weekend to celebrate the town many of our staff – including me – call home. For us, sponsorship is not just a marketing measure, but an expression of our connection to the city and its people. We want to make a positive contribution to the cultural and social life of the community and reflect on what we have – and will continue to – achieve together.”

Members of Tria’s Stutensee-based team attended to banquet of around 400 guests, including politicians, managing directors, and association chairs, which gave them an opportunity to connect with the local community on a more personal level.

The weekend celebrations started with a gala evening, where guests were entertained by a local choir, founded especially for the anniversary, to celebrate Studensee’s “good old days”. Guests were also invited to attend a keynote speech by District Administrator Dr. Schnaudigel.

Activities following this as the festivities continued over the weekend included a keg tapping ceremony, live music from “Sudden Inspiration.”, an ecumenical service, plus performances by clubs, the project choir, and a band, “Seán Treacy.”

Both days were largely organised by clubs, associations and churches who make up the ‘festival mile’, which stretches from the festival hall to the festival grounds.

“We were excited to do our part to make this year’s 50th anniversary of Stutensee a celebration to remember,” Geissler added. “This event represented creative diversity and cultural exchange in a vibrant community, which gives so much to its citizens and businesses, of which we were proud to be a part of.”
